What to include on a yoga teacher website before your first enquiry

Help prospective students understand your yoga classes with clear practical details, an honest introduction, and an easy contact path.

A yoga teacher website should help a prospective student imagine the practical experience of attending, not only communicate a calm atmosphere. A person may like the photography and still leave because they cannot find the location, format, or level. Start with the information someone needs before asking about a class.

Explain who the sessions are for

Name the teaching format and intended audience in everyday language. Distinguish a group class from a private session and online teaching from in-person teaching. If beginners are welcome, explain what that means in practice. Avoid suggesting that one format is suitable for everyone or promising health outcomes.

Publish the practical details

  • Where sessions take place, including online arrangements when relevant.

  • Typical duration and the current schedule or a way to request it.

  • What participants should bring.

  • How pricing and payment work.

  • How to ask questions before attending.

Keep changing information in a place you can maintain. An outdated timetable creates unnecessary uncertainty. If class availability changes frequently, explain how people can confirm a place rather than presenting an old schedule as current. Do not label an enquiry button “Book now” unless it actually completes a booking.

Introduce the person behind the practice

Use an accurate biography and genuine photograph. Describe relevant training and experience without inflating credentials. Explain your teaching approach in concrete terms: how a session is structured, how you communicate options, and what participants can expect. A visitor should not have to infer all of this from a mood board.

Answer the first-time questions

Common practical questions concern clothing, equipment, arrival time, cancellations, and how to contact the teacher. Publish your actual arrangements. Avoid collecting sensitive personal information through a general website form. If a visitor has questions about suitability, provide an appropriate way to discuss them without offering personalised medical advice on the page.

Keep the next step gentle but visible

A clear action does not have to sound aggressive. “Ask about a class” can be appropriate when people need a conversation first. Put that action near the relevant session information, and explain whether the person is requesting information or reserving a place. Make the contact route easy to use on a phone.

Build the website around Elaria

Elaria provides a wellness-oriented structure with service pages, company information, a contact page, and a CMS blog. Use it to organise your teaching offer and practical information. A class scheduler, payment system, or confirmed booking workflow should be assessed separately rather than assumed to be included.

Do one final student-view check

Ask someone who has never attended to find a suitable session and explain the next step. If they still need to ask where, when, or what to bring, add those answers before publishing more promotional content. A calm design is most useful when it makes the experience easier to understand.
